Pump Repairs
On a very cold winter day in 2007, My customer Sandy, and I spent over $800 to buy an XP pump for her LA Spa which was in danger of freezing. We paid for expedited shipping. There was and is no local place to buy these pumps. I made up my mind that day that I had to get the equipment and knowledge to rebuild the pumps myself, so that customers don’t have to wait too long and pay too much for pumps. Since then, I have hired, The Amazing Steve, and together we have become very expert at pump rebuilding. We have accumulated a large inventory of over 200 hot tub pumps, so that almost any customer can have their tub pump rebuilt in a couple days, instead of a couple weeks. We search the world over for the finest German, Japanese, and American bearings and seals. We stock hundreds of capacitors, start switches and other parts often needed.
Your best option, if we don’t already have an exact match, is to let us remove your pump and rebuild it. Or you can bring it to us in Park Ridge. This way we are positive that your pump will drop in and fit and work perfectly as originally designed. This avoids the many pitfalls associated with trying to find an exact match brand new. You can’t just call a distributor and ask for “ you know, the regular one.”
